Tk 4,00,266 crore budget passed for 2017-18

Parliament Correspondent: The parliament have passed Tk 4,00,266 crore national budget for 2017-18 fiscal year. It is the largest budget in the history of Bangladesh that would be effective from July 1.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith moved the Appropriations Bill, 2017 which was passed unanimously by voice vote.

Over 200 parliamentarians joined the general discussion on the proposed budget in the House.
