Economic Reporter: The local electronics appliances manufacturer Marcel has resumed its ‘Digital Campaign’ across the country with the aim of bringing its post sales services into the online activities by creating the online database through registering the appliances during sales.

Marcel also offered that every day, a customer of Marcel fridge, television and air-conditioner can get maximum Tk 1000 cash back or free fridge, television or air-conditioner or a tour to America or Russia on the registration of each purchased appliances from any Marcel outlets across the country.

The customers will enjoy this special offer from April 1 to June 30, 2018.

The announcement was made at a programme at the conference room of the Marcel Group’s Corporate Office in the capital on Monday (April 2, 2018).

The declaration programme was attended by Marcel Chief Marketing Co-ordinator Eva Rezwana, Policy, HRM and Admin Head SM Zahid Hasan, PR and Media Head Md Humayun Kabir, Executive Director Md. Tanvir Rahaman, Marketing Head Dr. Md. Shakhwat Hossen, and Senior Additional Director Mofizur Rahman.

During the ‘Digital Campaign’, details of the customers and their purchased products including the name of customer, contact number and the model number of the product are being stored on a server. The customers can seek post sales services browsing the Marcel developed web page http://support.Marcelbd.com and also they can see the status of the product from online.

Marcel Marketing Head Dr. Md. Shakhwat Hossen said, the campaign will not only encourage the customers in registering their purchased appliances but also digitalize the Marcel’s post sales services.

The online customers’ database, which is being created through the registration, will be resulted in delivering best after sales services promptly, he noted.
