Trader killed in Gazipur road crash

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A vegetable trader was killed when a pick-up hit a truck on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Salna area of Gazipur City Corporation on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Fazlur Rahman Badal, 28, hailed from Ghatonagar area of Pursha thana in Naogaon district.

Naozor highway police station OC Ohiuzzaman said the pick-up hit a sand-laden truck around 5:00am, leaving the victim dead on the spot.
