Traffic movement resumes on Bangabandhu Bridge after 3 hrs

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Traffic movement has resumed on the Bangabandhu Bridge after three hours of being suspended due to collapse of toll system.

The toll collection process was halted on both sides of the bridge from 10:00am to 01:00 pm on Sunday, creating a long tailback on both sides of the bridge.

Mosharraf Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bangabandh Bride (East) Police station, confirmed the news.
