Two brothers among six Bangladeshi workers killed in Saudi fire

Laxmipur Correspondent: A fire in the Saudi Arabian city of Holaifa has left at least six expatriate Bangladeshi workers dead and another ‘critically’ injured.
Two brothers - Jasim Uddin and Md Ibrahim from Laxmipur’s Charlorence area- are also among the casualties. They were the sons of Nesar Ahmed.
Police Super ASM Mahatab Uddin and Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandro Pal confirmed the matter.
The fire devastated a residential building of expatriate workers in Holaifa area early Wednesday morning local time.
In capital Riyadh, on April 13, at least seven people, including six Bangladeshis, were killed and eight others injured when a gas cylinder exploded prompting a fire in a room of a building occupied by expatriate workers.
