Two bullet-hit bodies recovered in Laxmipur

Police recovered two bullet-hit bodies from Bakultala area under Dattapara union in Laxmipur sadar upazila early Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Shahadat Hossain, son of Abu Taher of Dajipara village, and Khorshed Alam, son of Tofayel Ahmed of Boroitola village in the upazila.

Police suspected that they were killed during a 'gunfight' between two groups of 'criminals' over internal feud. Hearing the sound of gunshots, a team of police went to the spot and recovered the bodies.

A gun, four bullets, five shells of bullets and some native weapons were recovered from the spot.
