Two held with fire arms, ammo in Barisal

Staff Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two persons with a pistol, pipe gun and four rounds of bullets from Batna village of Kaunia Thana area in the district town.

The detainees are identified as Aktaruzzaman Khan, 48 and Rezaul Karim, 42.

A text message of the elite force floated to media confirmed this noon.

RAB said that acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-8 conducted a drive in the area on Friday midnight. Meanwhile, the law enforcers detained them with the fire arms and ammunition.

A case was filed with Kaunia police station in this regard.
