Two housemaids found dead in Uttara

Staff Correspondent: Police recovered the bodies of two housemaids from rooftop of a residence in capital’s Uttara on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Halima, 14 and Rubi, 17.

Police said that checking the close circuit footage, it was seen that the two housemaids went to roof of the house around 3:30am. Later, security guards sent them to Uttara Crescent Hospital in a critical condition. 

Confirming the matter, Uttara West police station OC Tapon Saha said the two victims were worked in the residence of a garment factory owners. The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
