Staff Correspondent: Two people were killed after being hit by a truck in the city’s Shanir Akhra area on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Harun-or-Rashid, 42 and Md Bashar.
Locals said that the accident took place around 6:30 am when a truck hit a brick-laden truck from behind while unloading bricks, leaving the two people died on the spot.
Confirming the matter, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kadamtali Police Station Abdul Jalil said the bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
