Two killed as car overturns in Rajshahi

Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: Two people were killed as a private car turned turtle in Bhangra area under Belpukur thana of Rajshahi on Sunday.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Quoting the witnesses, Belpukur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Golam Mostofa said that the Dhaka-bound car plunged into a roadside ditch when the driver lost control over the steering around 8:45am, leaving the two dead on the spot.

Later, on information, police rushed to the spot and sent the injured to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue.
