Two killed in Tangail road crash

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Two drivers were killed and one injured as a truck collided head-on with another truck in Kalihati upazila of Tangail on Thursday morning.
The deceased could not be known immediately.
Confirming the matter, Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Asabur Rahman said the accident took place when the two trucks reached Charbabla area of the upazila, leaving drivers of both the trucks dead on the spot and one injured.
Later, the injured was rushed to the 250-bed Tangail General Hospital, the OC said.
