Two muggers held with firearm in Ctg

Staff Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel detained two alleged muggers with a firearm in their possession from Chotteshwari road area of Chakbazar in the port city on Friday morning.

The detainees are- Abu Jahid, 22 and Shahabuddin, 19.

RAB said following suspicious activities, the law enforcers signaled the two youths to stop. But, the muggers tried to flee scene violating the signal. At one stage, RAB chased them and found an one-shooter gun, one round of bullet and a knife from them.
