Two school students killed in city road crash

Staff Correspondent: At least two students were crushed to death by a bus on Airport Road in Kurmitola area of the capital on Sunday.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. The victims were the students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School.

Witnesses said that some students were waiting for bus around 12:00pm. Meanwhile, Uttara-bound a speedy bus ran over them, leaving a school boy and a school girl dead on the spot and injured others.

Kazi Shahan Haque, Officer-in-Charge of Cantonment police station said two students were killed in road accident. Later, locals blocked roads following the accident.
