Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Two shops were gutted as a fire broke out at Hazi Market of Soydana area under Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) on Wednesday night.
Being informed, fire fighters of Gazipur fire station rushed the spot immediately and doused the blaze with their half-hour frantic efforts.
Md Zakir Hossain, station officer of Gazipur Fire Service, confirmed the news.
The fire might have ensued from electric short circuit. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
