Two siblings hacked to death in Sitakunda

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Two siblings were hacked to death by miscreants in Sitakunda upazila of the district on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Ramjan Ali, 35 and his younger brother Sijon Ali, 25. They were activists of Juba League.

Sources said the two brothers were attacked around 8:30pm on Monday following previous enmity. Later, they were taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him around 10:30pm.

Confirming the matter, Chattogram Additional police super Masiuddoula Reza said it is assumed that opponent killed them in a preplanned way. Police conducted drive in the area after the incident.
