Bogra Correspondent: Police have arrested two members of neo-JMB, an ultra-radical offshoot of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).
The arrestees are identified as Hadisur Rahman Sagar, 28 and Akram Hossain Lion, 24.
Nure Alam Siddique, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bogra Detective Branch of police, confirmed the matter to risingbd.com around 1:15pm on Thursday.
Being tipped off, police conducted a raid in Kichak area of Shibganj upazila in Bogra on Wednesday night and arrested them, the OC said.
They were sent to Dhaka for interrogation, he added.
He said the arrestee Hadisur Rahman Sagar was one of the coordinator and weapon suppliers of Dhaka Café attack. On the other hand, Akram Hossain is the main coordinator and financer of Neo-JMB. Niloy is also the mastermind of National Mourning Day attack in Dhaka on Aug 15.
