Two with coronavirus symptoms die at Suhrawardy

Two people with coronavirus symptoms have died at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the capital.

Prof. Dr. Uttam Kumar Barua, the hospital's director, said on Thursday (April 2) afternoon that the two people died on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

They had been suffering from fever, cold, cough and breathing difficulties, he said.

He said samples of the two deceased  were  collected and those were later sent to Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR). One who died on Tuesday tested negative for coronavirus and the report of the other who died on Wednesday did not come yet.
