US-Bangla aircraft takes off again after emergency landing

Staff Correspondent: The flight of US-Bangla Airlines took off again for Malaysia after making an emergency landing at Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday. 

US-Bangla Airlines GM (Marketing Support and PR) Kamrul Islam said the pilot of the plane received an indication at the aircraft's monitor just after taking off. But, few seconds later, the indication was vanished. And the pilot returned to the airport thinking safety of the onboard passengers.

However, the flight left for its destination after getting permission of civil aviation as the engineers found no fault after conducting a thorough check-up on the aircraft after coming back.

Rezaul Karim, public relation officer of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said that the Boeing 737-800 model aircraft of US-Bangla BS-315 has 164 passengers. The flight was allowed to take off as there was no problem after checking. 

Earlier, on March 12, a flight of the same airlines crashed in Nepal killing 51 people.
