Van driver killed in rival attack

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: A van driver has been killed in a rival attack over a land dispute at Mirzapur Bilpar village under Mymensingh Sadar upazila.
The deceased is Chand Mia (40).
Two persons-Shahjahan and Kamrul Islam- have also been injured in the incident.
They have been admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
According to sources, Chand Mia and his neighbor Tara Mia had a conflict over a piece of land. Supporters of two groups locked into a clash at night, leaving three injured.
Chand Mia succumbed to his injuries around 10.00am on Friday at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Four people have been arrested in this connection.
