Varsity teacher killed in Pabna road accident

Pabna Correspondent: A teacher of Pabna Science and Technology University named Rashed Kabir (55) has been killed and 9 injured in a road accident in the district’s Bera upazila.

The accident took place around 1.30am in Chakla Chhanda bridge area of the upazila.

Rashed Kabir was the son of Emam Ahmed at Arambag in Dhaka. He was the dean of science faculty.

According to police, a Pabna-bound bus of Sarkar Paribahan from Dhaka fell into the bridge as the driver lost control over it, leaving 10 injured.

Fire service men and police members rescued them and admitted them to Bera Hospital.
Rashed Kabir died at the hospital.
