Voting fair so far: CEC

Staff Correspondent: Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda has said that the election is being fair so far expect one or two separate incidents.
The CEC said this while talking to journalists outside his centre at IES School and College at Uttara in the city on Sunday.
Asked if the election is being held in inclusive manner, the CEC said it would be said at the end of the day.
The election officials have been ordered to halt votes in any centre if law and order situation goes out of control, the CEC also said.
Asked why BNP polling agents are not being seen at the centres, the CEC said, “It is their choice. If the agents do not come to the centres, how will they be seen there?”
Nurul Huda cast his vote at IES School and College centre. His wife Hosne Ara Huda also cast her vote at the same centre.
He expressed the hope that the voting will continue till 4 pm in a peaceful manner across the country.
