Walton receives Best Taxpayer Award at DITF

Economic Correspondent: Walton has received the Best Taxpayer Award at the just-concluded Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2015 for the seventh time.
Hedayetullah Al Mamun, the senior secretary of the ministry of commerce, handed over the award to the Executive Director (PR & Media), R.B. Group, S.M. Shoeb Hossain Nobel, on Tuesday evening.
Like previous years, Walton, country’s leading electrical, electronic and automobile goods manufacturing company, received the best taxpayer after paying the highest amount of tax, at this year`s DITF.
Besides, Walton won the second best prize under the premium pavilion category at the DITF.
The DITF authorities selected Walton pavilion as the second best for its beautiful construction, outstanding exterior design, attractive interior decoration and choice of visitors and customers. The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) organizes the DITF every year.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed handed over the second best award to Md. Raihan, Additional Director (Marketing) of Walton.
