Senior Correspondent: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) alleged that wasting time to provide the certified copy of verdict against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is an act of pre-planned.
The party also termed it as violating of laws.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, secretary general of BNP, came up with the allegation after emerging from a meeting with lawyers at the party chief's Gulshan political office on Friday evening.
He said, "Smog has been created willingly over providing the certified copy of verdict against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and her bail in the case. We heavily condemned it in the meeting."
"It is totally illegal to waste time on providing the certified copy of verdict. According to laws, is should be provided within five days. But, it was not given even after eight days. The government is working with plans taking laws at hand," he claimed.
He also alleged that it is an attempt of wasting time to release Khaleda Zia.
Fakhrul said, "The government is trying to rule out Khaleda Zia from the politics and election. But, people will give a befitting answer of it through demonstration."
