Why Prabhas and Anushka Shetty will never be a couple

Entertainment Desk: Their scorching chemistry in the ‘Bahubali’ series left the audience mesmerised, with many even wishing that Prabhas and Anushka Shetty’s reel romance would soon turn real.

Since then, there have been many rumours about the two being in a relationship and even planning to tie the knot. While the shaadi rumours were refuted, what is undisputed is the fact that the actors are thick friends off screen.

Now, an entertainment portal has claimed that the two can never be anything more than close buddies, because of their family circumstances. The website quoted a source, who said that Prabhas’ parents and relatives would never accept Anushka or for that matter, any girl, whom he chooses. Reason: They are extremely conservative and for them, love marriage is a taboo.

The source, touted to be a friend of the actor’s family, added that there is a very strong friendship between Prabhas and Anushka. However, the two would never allow that dosti to turn into pyaar, as they know that there is no future for a romantic relationship. Prabhas is said to be extremely close to his father and uncle and seems, he will never act against their will.

In short, while he may have left many women weak-kneed with his romantic outings on screen, it’s going to be an arranged marriage for Indian cinema’s Bahubali in asli zindagi.
