Wild elephant kills one in Bandarban

Bandarban Correspondent: A man was trampled to death by wild elephants in Dolujhiri area of Baishari under Naikhangchari upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Abdu Sobahan, 40.

Local sources said that a herd of wild elephants entered into the area early morning and attacked him, leaving the victim dead on the spot.

Baishari police camp in-charge Krishna Kumar Dash confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
