Windies set 262-run target for Tigers

Sports Desk: West Indies set 262-run target for Bangladesh in their second match (1st for Bangladesh) in the Ireland tri-series at Castle Avenue, Dublin on Tuesday.

Opener Shai Hope (wk) hit a brilliant score of 109 runs off 132 ball which includes 11 fours and a six.

Roston Chase scored 51 runs off 62 balls with 2 fours and a six.

None of the other batsmen could not manage to reach 40.

Of them, Sunil Ambris hit 38 runs while Jonathan Carter and Ashley Nurse 11 and 19 runs respectively.

The rest of the batsmen could not manage to reach double digit.

Meanwhile, in the tri-series opener against Ireland, West Indies won by 196 runs relying on the record-breaking stand of 365 between John Campbell and Shai Hope.

On the other hand, Bangladesh lost their lone practice game against Ireland A by 88 runs as the Tigers were struggling to adapt to the condition of Ireland.
