Woman hacked dead by husband in Jhenaidah

Jhenaidah Correspondent: A housewife was hacked to death allegedly by her addicted husband in Sezia village under Maheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Firoza Khatun, 45, wife of Abdul Kuddus of the village.

Jhenaidah police super Hasanuzzaman told risingbd that the victim’s husband Abdul Kuddus attacked her with a lethal weapon yesterday night, leaving her dead. Later, the children of Firoza Khatun informed locals.

On information, police recovered the body. Meanwhile, locals caught the killer and handed over him to Maheshpur police station.
