Woman hacked dead in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: A woman was hacked to death by miscreants in Helalpur village of Khoksa upazila in Kushtia on Thursday night.

The deceased was identified as Sabina Yeasmin, 40.

Badhan Hossain, son of the victim said, his mother and fathers were separated six to seven years ago. A case was pending in this regard. Sabina Yeasmin had an altercation with her ex-husband centering the issue over mobile phone on Thursday night. Later, she was hacked to death by unknown people on that night.

Khoksa police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) ABM Mehedi Masud said the body was sent to Kushtia General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
