Woman killed in Dhaka road crash

Staff Correspondent: A woman was killed when an ambulance rammed her in front of Square Hospital in city’s Kalabagan area on Monday morning.
The deceased was known as Shilpi Aktar, 30, hailed from Hajolpara village of Dhobaura Upazila of Mymensingh district.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station GG Biswas said the accident took place around 6:30am. Later, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared her dead around 9:30am.
The ambulance was seized, but driver fled after the accident, OC added.
