Woman's throat-slit body found in Kishoreganj, 4 held

Kishoreganj Correspondent: The slit-throat body of a woman was found at her house at Dawkia village of Sadar upazila in Kishoreganj district on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Parul Aktar, 30, wife of Shafiq Ahmed Khan.

Following the incident, police detained four people - the victim's husband Shafiq Ahmed, brother-in-law Arif Ahmed Khan, college student Shawpon Ahmed Khan and Rajib Ahmed.

Sub-Inspector Arifur Rahman of Kishoreganj model police station said that the victim got married Arifur Rahman 10-12 years ago. Family dispute would be the reason behind the murder.
