Worker dies falling off building in city

Staff Correspondent: A construction worker died after falling from multi-storey building at the capital's Mazar road in Mirpur on Friday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali, 27.

Bachchu Mia, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, confirmed the news.

He said, "The worker fell down from the multi-storey building while working on sixth floor. He was rushed to DMCH immediately where attending doctors declared him dead."

The body was kept at the hospital morgue, he added.
