Worker killed at Sitakunda shipbreaking yard

Staff Correspondent: A worker was killed and five others were injured in a fire triggered by an explosion at a shipbreaking yard in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rubel.
Sources said the six workers were injured when a gas cylinder exploded at Mahinur Shipbreaking Yard in Baro Aulia area around 9:30am. Later, the injured were sent to hospital where the worker died under treatment.
Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost ASI Alauddin Talukdar confirmed the matter.
