Workshop on strategic plans of CSOs held in city

Staff Correspondent: With a festive mood, a rolling out workshop on strategic plans of three Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) titled ‘Bangladesh Shishu Adhikar Forum (BSAF); Street Children Activist Network (SCAN); Sex Workers Networks of Bangladesh (SWNOB); and National Children Task Force (NCTF)’ was held on Monday.
The program was organized at the Conference Room of UCEP in capital’s Mirpur-2.
In the workshop, a total of three organizations formally explored their next action for survivors and at risk children of commercial sexual exploitation or similar practice in Bangladesh.
Ms. Tohomina Jesmin Mita, Deputy Executive Director of Social and Economic Enhancement Programme (SEEP) inaugured the workshop. Ehsanul Hoque, Child Protection Specialist, TdH. Netherlands, Roksana Sultana, Executive Director, Breaking The Silence (BTS), Rashida Begom, District Child Welfare Officer, Dhaka District, Bangladesh Shishu Academy were the special guest.
Ehsanul Hoque, Child Protection Specialist, TdH. Netherlands is seen talking the objective of the workshop. The workshop was organized by the project of ‘Combating Commercial exploitation of Children (CCSEC), in Bangladesh and funded by the European Union.
