Xunayed indicted in 2 cases

Staff Correspondent: Xunayed, the boy who came to light by beating another centering a girl, and his brother Rizvi have been indicted in two cases filed against them.

Police pressed the charge sheets against the two brothers before Dhaka Metropolitan's Magistrate Snigdha Rani Chakroborty on Tuesday.

Mokbulur Rahman, general registrar officer of the court, confirmed the news.

Xunayed sought bail after surrendering  before a Cyber Crime Tribuna on March 20, 2016, but court rejected the petition and sent him to jail.

He was also denied bail on April 24, 2016. Later, he was placed on 2-day remand on March 31 in the year.

According to the case statement, a video footage went viral on internet showed Xunayed continuously was beating a boy centering a girl.

Later, two cases were filed with Dhanmondi Police Station in this connection.
