Youth crushed under train in city

Staff Correspondent: An unidentified youth was crushed under the wheels of a train at Amtali level crossing of Mohakhali in the city on Sunday.

The incident took place around 12:00 pm.

The deceased could not be known immediately but was clothed in pants and blue T-shirt.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of GRP Police Station Rashed Rana said the accident took place around 12:00 pm when a train hit the youth as he was sitting being absent-minded beside the Amtali level crossing, leaving him dead on the spot.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy around 6:00 pm, the police official said.
