Youth killed by alligator in Barguna

Barguna Correspondent: A youth was killed as an alligator attack him in Tengragiri eco-park under Taltoli upazila of the district on Saturday noon.

The deceased was identified as Asaduzzaman Roni, 29, son of Golam Mostafa.

Witnesses said that the youth went to the park crossing security wall to take a selfie with alligator. Meanwhile, an alligator attacked him and took into a pond in the park.

Later, locals and forest staff rushed to spot and recovered the body after two hours efforts.

Confirming the matter, Patharghata police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamlesh Haldar told risingbd.com that the body was taken to hospital for autopsy.
