Youth killed in city road crash

Staff Correspondent: A youth was killed as a covered van hit him from behind in front of Fatema Filling Station of the capital's Jatrabari area early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Imran Hossain, 22, a human hauler driver.

Bachchu Mia, Sub-Inspetor (SI) of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, confirmed the news.

He said Imran was rushed to DMCH as he was after a covered van hit at Jatrabari area. Attending doctors of DMCH declared him dead around 4:30am on Wednesday.

 

The body was kept DMCH morgue. The covered van driver was held in Jatrabari Police Station, he added.
