Youth kills half-brother in capital

Staff Correspondent: Police has arrested a youth for killing his 7-year-old half-brother.
Sub-Inspector of Uttarkhan Thana Md Anwar Hossain Khan said child Md Simran’s body was recovered on the bank of the Turag River. Police suspects that half-brother Bappi (22) strangled the child to death.
The child used to live with his father Nasir Uddin and mother Sufia Begum at Uzampur. Nasir’s son from his previous marriage lives in another place, but often visited his father.
Quoting family members and neighbours, the police officer said that Bappi and Simran went to the bank of Turag River in afternoon.
Locals nabbed Bappi and reported to the police.
The boy’s mother has started a murder case
