Youth lynched in Barisal

Staff Correspondent, Barisal:  A youth has been lynched at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital on the charge of stealing a mobile.

The deceased was identified as Md Nasir Uddin (30), son of Ansar Uddin at Padrishibpur village in Bakerganj upazila.

The incident happened on Saturday morning.

Barisal Kotwali Model Police Station’s Assistant Sub-Inspector Swapan Kumar said that the injured young man was found in the hospital gate at around 10.00 am. After rescuing he was admitted to the hospital where he died around 10:30 am. Before the death, Nasir Uddin said that he was beaten for stealing a mobile.
