Youth lynched in Jashore

Staff Correspondent, Jashore: A young man was beaten to death and another injured by an angry mob at Shankarpur Bus Terminal in the district town on Tuesday night.

The deceased was identified as Sunny, 25, son of Mashiur Rahman, while the injured as Ananda, 24, son of Ashok of Shankarpur area.

According to sources, two groups locked into a clash over toll collection from the bus terminal, leaving two injured.  They were taken to Jashore General Hospital where Sunny died around 9.45pm.

Apurba Hasan, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, confirmed the matter.
