Youth’s bullet-hit body found in Monirampur

Jashore Correspondent: Police found bullet-hit body of a youth at Rajganj of the district’s Monirampur upazila on Wednesday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately who was in Lungi, white-check shirt, black jacket and leather shoes.

Police recovered a pipe-gun and a trident found beside the body.

There were found a bullet mark of the body’s head.

According to locals, they found the body lying in pulse-field and informed police on Wednesday morning.

Jahir Raihan, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Monirampur Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said, “The place where the body was found is robbery-prone area. The youth might have been killed in shooting of two gangs.”

The body was sent to Jashore 250-bed Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
