Zakir Hossain made acting registrar general of SC

Staff Correspondent: The Supreme Court appointed Appellate Division registrar Md Zakir Hossain as its acting registrar general.

Acting Chief Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah made the appointment on Tuesday.

Zakir Hossain will take the charge from October 22.

A circular signed by deputy registrar James Richard Cruz said Zakir Hossain will perform additional functions of the registrar general alongside his regular duties until the next order.

Earlier, on October 14, ten officials of the Supreme Court Appellate and High Court divisions have been transferred.
