Bus catches fire at Agargaon

A staff bus of ‘Palmal Group’ caught fire in the capital’s Agargaon area on Thursday (August 31) morning.

No casualties were reported in this connection.

Fire Service Duty Officer Khalid Bin Rashid confirmed the information.

He said the air-conditioned (AC) bus of Palmal Group caught fire at around 7:30am while the vehicle was on Agargaon signal. At this time, people inside the bus managed to get down quickly.

Being informed, one firefighting unit rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
