RU Correspondent: Rajshahi city Awami League President AHM Khairuzzaman Liton expressed agitation as the Rajshahi University authority did not appoint Chhatra League activists in various empty posts.
Aiming the Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor of the varsity, he said that you guys got the post due to Awami League not for your qualification.
Khairuzzaman Liton made the comment while addressing a discussion organized by Rajshahi University Chhatra League on the occasion of Jail Killing Day on Wednesday.
He said that peace is prevailing in Rajshahi University as Chhatra League activists alert here but unfortunately the authority doesn`t appoint the people who worked for independence.
"Four years ago, we sent a list to the administration to appoint party men," he said.
Avoiding any rules and regulation, BNP appointed 544 in the university so, why you people can`t appoint 144 men, he asked the authority.
Meanwhile, AHM Khairuzzaman Liton declared conference for all halls of Rajshahi university in November 20.
Central Chhatra League former executive member Saidul Islam Rubel, Metropolitan Awami League former joint secretary general Tabibur Rahman Sheikh, AL Rajshahi unit former vice president Mir Iqbal and others attended in the programme.
