Chittagong rail link with country snapped

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: The railway communications of Chittagong with other parts of the country has been suspended from Monday morning following the derailment of a train.

 

According to sources, three compartments of Nasirabad Express derailed in Mirsarai area at around 6.30am as miscreants removed fishplates from the tracks.

At least 10 passengers were injured in the incident.

A salvage train has reached the spot and started repairing the rail lines.
