Long traffic jam on Dhaka-Tangail highway

Tangail Correspondent: Thousands of vehicles have remained stuck on Dhaka-Tangail highway due to long tailbacks since Friday night, causing immense and untold sufferings to passengers.

The highway is witnessing a 25-kilometre traffic jam from Chandra to Mirzapur.

The gridlock caused mainly because of heavy rain and rush of vehicles as people are returning to the capital Dhaka to join offices after Eid vacation.
