11 BUET BCL men expelled permanently

The central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) expelled 11 members of its BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology) unit permanently for their involvement in Abar murder.

BCL central committee took the decision in an urgent meeting. 

A press statement signed by BCL president (acting) Al Nahian Khan Joy and general secretary (acting) Lekhak Bhattacharjee revealed the news on Monday night.

Joy said, “We formed a probe body to investigate into Abrar murder. We permanently expelled 11 members of BCL BUET unit as they were found involved in the incident in primary investigation.”

“If someone is found involvement in the incident further, steps must be against him. BCL will not take responsibility of someone’s personal crime,” he added.
