11 wards of DSCC dengue free, Mayor claims

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon claimed that 11 wards of DSCC are dengue free.

The mayor made the assertion while addressing an inter-ministerial meeting at health ministry on Thursday noon.

Mayor Sayeed Khokon said, “The dengue situation is becoming complex day by day. There is no doubt that the number of dengue infected persons is increasing. But, there is some hope also. The ward number 14, 18, 22, 23, 29, 35, 42, 53, 55 and 56 are remained dengue free.”

He said CGC of health decorate revealed the information after conducting a survey from July 17 to July 17.
