1200 sacks of rice seized from Juba League leader’s godown

1,200 sacks of rice stored in the godown of Jabed Bhuiyan, general secretary of Madanpur Union Juba League under Bandar upazila in Narayanganj, have been seized.

The rice was seized in a raid at Haider Knit Composite's godown in Keodhala area of ​​Madanpur on Wednesday (April 29) night.

Later, the godown was sealed by UNO of Bandar upazila Shukla Sarkar.

Shukla Sarkar said, “We came to know from secret information that local Juba League leader Jabed Bhuiyan has stored 1,200 sacks of rice in his godown.”

He did not show any valid documents when they raided the place and seized the sacks of rice, she also said.
