13 judges infected with COVID-19, one at ICU

13 judges of subordinate courts across the country have been infected with coronavirus or COVID-19.

Among them, Lalmonirhat District and Sessions Judge Ferdous Ahmed has been kept at the Incentive Care Unit (ICU) of Combined Military Hospital (CHM) in Dhaka.

About 26 staff of subordinate courts across the country have also been infected with coronavirus or COVID-19.

Spokesperson of   Supreme Court Mohammad Saifur Rahman confirmed this to risingbd on Tuesday morning.

All the district judge courts have sent this information to the High Court administration.

Earlier on June 14, the High Court administration issued a notice to all subordinate courts seeking information about corona-infected judges and staff.

Registrar of High Court Division Golam Rabbani signed the notice.
